Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Fighter from Thailand as well as mixed martial artist competing within the flyweight section of the UFC. She is the younger sister of fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as a Muay Thai kickboxer. Antonina used her superior strike skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch through knees that hit the body. The result was that Antonina was given the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina did her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale to be fought by Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight. She won the initial bout by unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from the loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned her second fight of the evening in this bout. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in the next three fights. She beat Ariane Lipski, but lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee.
